Final Project

Hey all,
It's time to start collaborating on the final project. I've looked it over several times now and there is a LOT that needs to be done. I think we're going to have to sit down and assign tasks. Otherwise it won't all get done. Let me know your thoughts/schedule. Thanks.

    I think it's a good idea to assign tasks and such, since there is so much to do, I think that would be best.

  3. Hi everyone. First of all, thank you so much Chad for starting the website. As stated there is tons to do but lots of it is individual uploading and adding things. I was thinking we could set a goal of having part one done by this Thursday/Friday so that Saturday and Sunday we can all individually look over everything and make sure it is in the right place, cited correctly, and everything is there. It's not fair to put stuff on there last minute and be scrambling Sunday night. Let me know if you guys think this will be possible.

    For my two web pages: I was going to use lesson plan 2 (the one where we used Excel), and my digital story.

    Also, I tried to add the WMU logo and link the website but I honestly have no idea how to do it. I read and re-read the paragraph explaining it and I am clueless. If anyone can explain it in more simple steps please post it and I am more then happy to add that! Thanks!

  4. I think I can deal with that schedule. I am wondering what kind of organization we want to do for the site. Are we going to put stuff up according to the concept map -- kind of in a logical order? (Background info, types of gardens, etc.) Kind of how we worked on things all along. I just wanted to clarify.

    Kristen, the WMU logo doesn't show up in my e-learning at all -- the link comes up blank. If you can post the logo to the first page, I think I can link it.

  6. Hey guys. Ok is anyone else having such a difficult time with this website? I honestly have read the assignment so many times and I understand everything we need to have included in the website but I am having such a hard time actually adding things and linking them. Does anyone have any pointers?

    Chad- thats a good idea to post it in order of the concept map and it will make sense to the viewer.

  7. Kristen, I'm not having trouble linking or posting. What exactly is not working for you? I can't see any pages that you've created. Actually, I don't see any pages that anyone else has created. You have to create pages, then add your content. To link, you highlight or select what text or image you want linked and then click on the link icon at the top of the page.

  8. Ok I can't even get to our blog right now. When I type in the username and password it's telling me I need to create an account but we already have that done and I have been on it already. Ugh. Can you send me the link to it?

  10. I'm confused on what we are supposed to put on our two pages we create? Like Kristen, you're using lesson plan 2 and your digital story. So, I don't know. I've been rereading over this all week and haven't had time to actually sit down and do it all until now. And I'm just a little confused by that, maybe someone can make it a little more clear on what exactly I should put on my two pages?

  12. We have to each create two pages. Within the pages you have to link things we created throughout the semester. I am linking my digital story and lesson plan 2. I will design my pages around these two topics and give information about them. Does that help? I'm confused too about putting stuff on there but I'm going to figure it out tonight and finish everything tomorrow after babysitting so we can help each other out. I'll be on here a lot.   14. Maybe I am wrong, but I thought we had to link everything we did this semester AND create two new pages of information, each. You have to include all your links from the web evals, too. And, it all needs to be explained. You can't just post links. And, everything has to be cited in context. PLUS someone needs to adjust the concept map in Inspiration. I'm not doing it.

    If you guys think the assignment is different, let me know. If it's just two pages each and no new content, I've been doing a whole lot of work this week for nothing.

  16. Ok, so then we make two pages with NEW stuff we have created that we didn't submit for the class? And then where do we put our work we did do throughout the semester? I'm just confused on where all this work is supposed to go?

  17. Yeah thats what I meant by creating two new pages. We create two new pages of info but within them we can link stuff from the semester...right? Does anyone know where Melissa has been she hasn't posted here in like 2 weeks.
