Concept Map
Chad, those are some great ideas. I don't know too much about gardening, but it seems like you covered some of the main things there. I like the idea of being able to tie in the weather and such also.
Hi! I agree with Kaila...I don't know much about gardening either! Let's just make sure that we keep our focus on was it fourth grade? Either way we need to make sure that our concept map isn't too over the heads of elementary kids. I think those ideas sound really good though. Melissa are you still planning on submitting the concept map? Let me know if you need help with anything!
I have completed the concept map. Originally, I thought that the concept map was for us to organize our ideas but then realized, because of your post, that this could be a teaching tool instead (something we could use with students). While there are some words that may need to be defined by the students, the concepts should be appropriate for elementary students. Please let me know if there are any concepts any of you think should be added/modified.
